In the song They don't care about us he sings " I have a wife and two children who love me" but he didn't have children yet. So why does he sang it?

This has been discussed a bunch of times, with the two possible explanations being the LMP one above and also that he was not writing strictly autobiographically but about the stereotypical "wife and 2 kids" of many families. I lean toward the first myself....

No Michael was already divorced when the video's for TDCAU were made BUT he was married to LMP when he wrote and recorded the song.

I think Mr. Jackson does not reffer to himself, but to the average man in general.
