The Time

This is one of my all time favorite groups.
Members: Morris Day, Jesse Johnson, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Monte Moir, Jellybean Johnson, & Jerome Benton.
Terry & Jerome are brothers. They've recently recorded an album (that's not out yet) and performed on the Grammies a couple of months ago. This song is from the last album they released in 1990.

The Time Settles In For Las Vegas Shows
May 23, 2008, 10:40 AM ET
Mitchell Peters, L.A.

After reuniting for the first time in 15 years for the 50th Grammy awards in February, R&B/funk group the Time has announced additional concert performances at the Flamingo Las Vegas, beginning June 24 and wrapping Aug. 2.

All original members of the Time -- Morris Day, Jerome Benton, Jellybean Johnson, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Monte Moir and Jesse Johnson -- are slated for 15 shows at the Flamingo. Tickets are currently available via Harrahs.com, with prices ranging between $65 and $125.

During the band's Grammy performance, Jimmy Jam introduced his fellow bandmates and group opened with "Jungle Love," switching over mid-song to a slightly down-tempo, pyrotechnic laden version of "Umbrella" by Rihanna, who then continued with "Don't Stop the Music."

In April, Day joined Prince onstage at the ninth annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., for a collaboration on "Jungle Love."

the original version that Prince had given to Mazarati was far more risque than what the time got served in 90 for release. the track had that 82-84 feel and alot of the tracks that Prince had on that project were in the can from 82.

Mazarati turned down the Original hard to believe that Mazarati had Jerk Out and Kiss already for there debut set but Jerk Out offended Sir Terry Casey the lead singer of Mazarati and Prince took back Kiss for himself. two hits taken back

same thing happen to Appolonia 6 when they originally had "the glamorious Life and Maniac Monday on there album but Prince pulled them.
