that was one of the greatest videos to have ever been posted to a wide audience early on YT.

not only great research, but he also brought up interesting and important points regarding copyright. with so many lazy muppets (professional and amateur alike) using already packaged loops by demon companies like Zero-G, we have hundreds of thousands of producers/beat-makers/musicians who are using these classic samples without even knowing what it is (and with hardly any creativity involved in how they use it). this loop-crazy world of music is pissing on the art of sampling and completely lost its authenticity (yes, sampling can be very authentic).

as an avid early-d&b fan and all the beautiful spawns it later produced, i owe a lot of my mental well-being to this break.

bumpety..

some proper drum+bass from '93, back when it still had some colours.

^^^^That doesn't sound right to me, the vocals and beats don't mix.

Amen, Brother was based on the melody of "We're A Winner"

Melvin Bliss ~ Synthetic Substitution

The beat from this 1973 song has also been sampled quite a bit, the best known use is Naughty By Nature's OPP.
