I close my eyes
The air is cold but calm
I whisper your name
And deep inside I feel warm

Then I open my eyes
and see that all my dreams were lies
I lost a dream I never had
A dream with nothing but love

The lights of the city
are counting the tears falling down
The rain falls gently on my skin
But I can't feel it no more

Memories, happy but painful
will never fade away
I look at the stars and I feel you inside
You, the inspiration I wil never lose
