Michael Jackson didn't live to see his seventh album's 25th anniversary. Sadly, Jackson was involuntarily murdered by his personal physician, Conrad Murray, three-years ahead of Bad's silver jubilee.
And nobody understands that better than Gunther KIA, Catholic Health Services, Air Around the Clock, and a handful of local radio stations. Together with Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, the aforementioned businesses and organizations are celebrating 25 years of the album with the Ultimate Thriller tribute show. Oh, the irony.
Emphatically billed as, "the most authentic and exciting musical bow to Jackson's legacy," Ultimate Thriller was created to "usher in the 25th anniversary of his [number one] smash... Bad..." This Saturday's performance at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood falls just two days after the late Jackson's birthday, making it extra special.
Authentically recreating MJ's hustle, celebrity impersonator extraordinaire E'Casanova will channel his inner 1987 and reexamine the question on everyone's mind: Who's bad?
The Ultimate Thriller: the Michael Jackson Tribute. 8 p.m., Saturday, September 1, Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood.
Tickets cost $32-$49 plus fees. Call 954-797-5531, or visit hardrocklivehollywoodfl.com.
