I am so fcking frustrated after looking at some of these reviews of the show tonight 😡 I think the Broadway ones were the same?

They acknowledge Michael's genius but simply cannot let go of the allegations aspect and shoot the show down based on that!!

At least this is one of the more favourable ones.

Very true, we shouldn't pay attention to those critics but seeing some of those established media outlets rate it say 2 out of 5 is hurtful.

The audiences seem to love it 😢
 
It's made 16 million this year, assuming it makes over 80 million like it did last year it will have earned over 250 million by the end of 2024. This is good enough to put it just outside the top 20 all time, but below what Hamilton (opened: 2015) had by the end of 2017 (300 million)

The reviews have been very mixed though. A lot of unfair 2 star reviews of the musical that are unfortunately in the mainstream media.

Hopefully once the "is it morally right to attend a Michael Jackson musical" brigade calm down the buzz will just be from those who attend and have a brilliant time.

The numerous standing ovations throughout is what makes me most happy. People clearly do love it.

Media doesn't matter, the public likes it and that's all that matters.
