The Michael - Goofy connection

The 1994 Disney flick, a Goofy Movie, paid homage to Michael with dance moves, music and namely the Moonwalk. See 1:07 in the clip below:

Fast forward >> to 2012. Disney is giving a new look to its iconic characters for the Barney's holiday campaign. While the appropriateness is debatable considering their main target audience is kids, Goofy's new look made me smile. Lookie!

Balmain jacket. Very Michael-esque. Ha!

Yeah, Powerline was definitely a homage to Michael. But the new designs of the Disney characters...uh ugh not good IMO.
