I only have a very small and simple tree outside,with tinsel and ball ornaments,but I saw this one and it made me laugh :

The tree is a lie :rofl:

It's been a while since I last saw the decorations in my town.Last time I did,the main square looked like this :

And now,it seems,it looks like this :

It's only one of many trees installed around town.It's called the wishing tree and I vaguely remember the first year that was done,people would attach their wishes to the tree.Along with that there was a box for a raffle promoted by some of the shops.You could get coupons in them,enter your name and one person would win money to purchase goods near the year's end.That is still done as the main wishing activity,the other part I believe has been forgotten,sadly.

I love how beautiful everything is with the lights,but I feel guilty about it too.So many resources and energy go to waste..

Here's my Christmas tree. It is a small artificial one. Because we didn't want to deal with the hassle of decorating a big tree this year. And I am so glad too. Cause I always end up decorating the tree by myself. And I just hate doing that. And as for the tree. we always go with artificial because I think it is more better for the environment. Than getting a real tree. Which we used to always get at one time.
