Had no idea they had remade this. My parents loved this movie and I ended up loving it too-mainly because of Elmer Bernstein's score. Asked for the soundtrack as a Christmas present one year. Can't imagine the movie without it, but just read James Horner (Captain EO, Titanic) wrote the new one before he passed, so that's probably a worthy choice. No doubt he will honor Bernstein in his work. RIP Mr. Bernstein and Mr. Horner.
