I think it's like "Man In The Mirror" Pt. 2. - Just trying to put out the message that we all must come together, and we can come together if we all cry at the same time.

This song became reality June 25th when the whole world cried.

Exactly. R Kelly is the one who wrote it and gave it to Michael. If I remember correctly, MJ first got the song from RK back in 1999 (I remember reading a news article on MTV.com about it way back then).

Alot of people felt he should have and could have used it as a 9/11 tribute but then the whole MJ/Sony feud began and that pretty much killed that idea.

Oh God, I know. I had turned the tv from the news like on June 26/27 to a music channel and they played the Cry video. Ugh. And we certainly all cried at the same time, didn't we?
