The Jacksons Have Written Songs for One Direction

Who better to write songs for One Direction than the members of one of the most popular boy bands of all time, right? That's what Jackie Jackson thinks, too.

Michael Jackson's brother and the Jackson 5 member told the Daily Star that he sees himself and his brothers in the U.K. sensations. They even inspired him to write some tracks for 1D. "Those boys remind me of ourselves so much when we were younger. I got some songs for them to record too so we'll be in touch [with them] real soon."

Whaddya say, 1D? These guys might know a thing or two about a hit record. May we even suggest taking this one step further: The remaining members of the Jackson 5 appear in the new One Direction video? And then a Michael Jackson hologram shows up? No? Too far?

Hmm. Personally not a fan of 1D. Maybe I'll change my mind if they really sing a song written by the Jacksons. But lol, imagine MJ popping in 1D's video:lol:
 
They have been in the studio for last 25 years and nothin' has come out, not for themselves, and I doubt nothin' comes out for 1D. Anyways, why give songs to 1D to record, have they forgotten their own kids that sings too?

Well songwriters sell their songs for money. That's what singer song writers do, so nothing odd or wrong there. They should be making there own way making and selling thier own songs. I Don't understand your response. but I do think this is just publicity.. most likely 1D knows nothing about this. Its like when people say they wrote songs for MJ .. but he was never presented with them.

Yes, it's just probably some publicity.

The money reference is that 1D probably have more options and fans to sell music than their children. Not talking down on their children but from the point that 1D are more known that their kids. And of course, every music or lyric composer has to get paid.
