I bought The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty on DVD last week. I was expecting it just to be ok, as I bought it out of curiosity more than anything else. But I really enjoyed it, and even though Michael's name isn't constantly dropped you learn a lot more about were Michael came from family wise. I highly recommend this dvd.
On the negative side, Jermaine appears to be quite a difficult person with an out of control ego. I'm not that keen on him after watching this dvd, as he appears to be the one who causes friction with the brothers. On group recordings and rehearsals, the brothers can be really hard on each other and there is often frustration of not being able to make individual discissions, and I can see why Michael never toured or recorded another album with his brothers after the Victory Tour.
On the positive side you can help but fall in love with Jackie, Tito and Marlon. You can see aspects of Michael in bits of their personalities. Jackie is a perfectionist like Michael, Tito is calm and quite like Michael, and Marlon is kind and funny like Michael. I don't know who Jermaine is like, as all the brothers are humble like Michael where Jermaine has an ego that needs to be put in it's place.
