Marlon, Tito and Jackie Jackson were so thrilled with the way they performed during a recent concert in Japan ... they've decided to take their show on the road ... TMZ has learned.

Jackson family sources tell us ... the brothers will be embarking on an 18-20 show concert tour that will span across Europe.

We're told the idea came together just two weeks ago ... when the guys were performing in Tokyo with a Japanese pop star named A.I.

The brothers had such a good time on stage together ... that when the idea of a tour came up, they all jumped at the opportunity!

Plus, the guys were so impressed with A.I., they've invited her to join them on the road.

Sources tell us the Jacksons are hoping to get the tour launched by next month -- but we're told their team is still trying to nail down the schedule ... so it could be pushed back by a few weeks.

So far, we're told Jermaine will not be joining the rest of the family ... but we're guessing he could change his mind ... if the price is right.

Deary me. good look in getting anyone in europe to care. unless of course they drag the kids along.nothing like cashing in on the killing of your "brother"

Im not sure Ill put my faith in anything TMZ says but if true ..

I wish them well. I think they will be well recieved in Europe . Just as they were in Japan.
I think they should follow this dream and just enjoy making good music together once again.
Many retro artists still tour and they do just fine.. We'll just have to wait and see
 
I could partly understand the remaining Jackson brothers performing but not just 3 of them. Wonder if the tickets will sell?
 
If it was just these three, what would they sing? They can't sing any Jackson 5 or Jacksons songs because they don't have their lead singer (either Michael, Jermaine or Randy). They can't even sing songs from the 2300 Jackson Street album.

I don't mind if the brothers want to tour, but they should at least release a new album first and have a tour promoting that. Then it won't be compared to Michael. But, with AI on board I expect this to be a touring tribute concert of Jackson 5 and Jacksons songs that will only be compared to the original, and will only look even worse.

another report said they want to tour europe doing tribute concerts to Michael, so they will be performing his hits plus j5 stuff i guess and want to do the tribute concert permanently in Vegas
 
They will have to use mjs name and music to get attention and sell any half decent amount of tickets.
 
They're 30-35 years too late for this ish imo.

I don't get why many American's think the brothers are well known in Europe, as someone who's lived on both continents for a considerable time, I can assure you that many people, especially in mainland Europe people struggle with the brother's names (with the exception of Jermaine, Janet and La Loony Tune), leave out them having any kind of fanbase, so I don't see how this could ever work unless they team up with a known name in Europe or perform in small clubs.

Exactly tink. tito is prob slightly known in the uk cause he did the rounds on t.v a few years ago but jackie and marlon are not known at all and as twink said only janet jerm and toya are known of. i guess it depends on what u class as a success interms of what will happen. they can prob pull in small crowds because of some mj fans that are desperate but other than that i see not much intrest as they dont have any form of fanbase. i worked a venue this week that holds around 1800 and i saw a flyer advertising a tour by four of the osmonds. they are doing small venues around the uk. i suppose the three will look at venues like that.after all it doesnt take much to sell a 1000 tiks
 
I'm guessing that they will be able to pull off small club type venues, just like other acts who happen to be older and are just out there doing their thing on a smaller scale.

But I still have to ask: "Will anybody really be interested in seeing them?"

I mean, the brothers, in my opinion, basically live in the past and will have to realize that those days are gone and smaller may be the ticket for them in today's world.

May I also add: They SHOULD have done this year's ago! If they had, "maybe" they would be in better shape with a decent fanbase to call their own.

If this time they just do their own things without exploiting michael's name, good for them! If this is just another money making scheme by using michael's name and call it another michael jackson tribute concerts? screw them!
 
Good luck... If anyone in Europe cares as much as I do (and I believe it's the case) I hope they dont expect to fill stadiums. Oh well.

exactly. they spent years hassling mj to get back with them so now the attitude seems to be oh well hes dead we might as well go and doing something now.
 
As laughable as this news is, if they had announced this before MJ's passing, I would have cheered them on. But because they now decide to do it, it's hard not to have a bad taste in your mouth.

But I guess this is better than them doing something that uses the kids.

Whenever I see Tito, Jackie and Marlon touring and doing tributes I ask who is singing :) I assume that means A.I. will be singing. I lived close to Europe as well and honestly Jackson brother's aren't famous. Only famous ones are Michael - obviously, Janet - on her own right, Latoya - due to her playboy spread but probably younger generation doesn't know her and perhaps Jermaine - to some extent.

Also a fun fact : Do you remember GLE billing the Wales tribute Michael Forever as the only and last time the brothers will perform together? Ehehehe

A lot of people dont even know Latoya where I am, and couldnt tell you the name of one brother outside of Jerm (I think because of Pia Zadora lol)

And finally : :hysterical: Might as well milk the fan cow while it lasts, right?
 
I don't know about the whole Europe but even if there were people who know one or another of brothers in my country now they must think twice should they go to their show. Tito Jackson was going to perform with MJ tribute show in Moscow last autumn. Tickets were pretty expensive but people were buying them only because of Tito. Tito himself invited everybody to his show in Moscow per Twitter. And than he just didn't come. He just send audio and thanked everybody for coming to this show but he couldn't be there 'cuz it's trail time he must be with family blah blah blah. It was irony to excuse himself because of the trial - so he didn't know about it in time???
Several days later he performed in Kardiff and didn't care about the trial.
After that accident i think nobody would buy it again.
 
Wow, talk about disrespecting people. I'm sorry for all those who bought tickets. I hope they learned their lesson : thou shall not trust another Jackson than Michael

You know how we often envy Europeans & Japanese fans...? I think it's time for us to start pitying you guys. From Dangerous & HIStory Tours...to fake tributes.

If there isn't much interest, they might just drag the kids into some of the concerts. They've used the kids before, and I'd bet my pinky they'll do it again soon.

This is an obvious exploitation of their brother's death. I used to actually respect these three.
 
So once again no Randy or Jermaine? you know something has got to be wrong when Jermaine has'nt jumped at the chance to be on stage yet again. Thought their reality show depicted them all wanting to hit the stage again like in the old days.
 
Jermaine is doing his own thing. I dont think the brother can come to agreement when it comes to performing together as we saw from thier Dynasty show. Also Randy is not well (heart problems) and unable to perform from what Ive heard. Maybe in the future Jermaine will join them at some time or maybe this will all just fizzle out from lack of interest. Only time will tell.
