The best audio editing and mixing program?

I see many MJ mix songs on internet and wonder how thay are made. Does anyone know the best audio editing and mixing program? Is soundbooth by Adobe good? I’m using quite a lot products by Adobe like Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effetcts but I haven’t decided what software to mix music.

i suggest downloading audacity. audacity is what i use, and it definitely works for me.
its a free download.
