The 30th Anniversary Celebration was some of the best mixes of his music.

Is there anyway that we can get awarness of them to release the mix of his songs without the crowd noise? I mean seriously from the J5 Meleody even to You Rock My World I love the way that these mixes were handled. They brought a fresh modern appeal to the already excellent music.

Is there anyway that we can get them to release the mixes? Or do live albums always have crowd noise? :(

It depends on how a show is recorded if crowd noise is in the music or not. Most likely, the 2001 shows were just filmed and not recorded for the purpose of releasing it as a record. Live albums are usually recorded through a soundboard, like a studio console. The band is recorded separately. Sometimes the crowd is miked and the crowd is mixed into the songs. If you notice on a lot of live records, the cheering is at the beginning and end of songs, but not during the song. Concerts recorded in a club, a church, or other small place are miked differently. The audience is close to the act, so they're usually picked up on the performers' mikes and can't be taken out. James Brown's "Live At The Apollo" or Sam Cooke's "Harlem Square Club" are examples of this. But in these cases, the crowd makes the record and wouldn't be the same without it. Now some acts live show (like Genesis) sound pretty close to the studio versions, so without the crowd cheers, you might as well listen to the original records, lol.
