It's incredible hearing the song live. :clapping:

I must say, I really hope/wish that Michael would bring Teddy on as musical director.

After all these years, he's still the FUNKIEST producer on the planet.

Edit: Fans are saying this is an excerpt from a December '08 T.R. performance. Youtube said it was from April '09. Oh well... It's still funky and I still hope Michael brings Teddy on as his musical director.

nice one. dude lost it YEARS ago, though. but the classics never fail.

and for Groove Me (@ 1:47) he's also using the same rhythm that formed the backbeat to the Remember The Time video choreo sequence.

I think (or more so hope) that in 2-3 years, Teddy will get back in the industry with the New Jack Swing type of music.
I'm kind of feeling we're getting back to the early 90's music now.
I'm hearing more and more old school hiphop oriented beats in the buzz.
AND we're getting to see more and more of Teddy right now, he's out doing promotional work and he's gonna tour with Aaron Hall, Dave Hollister, GUY, & Blackstreet July-November.

Teddy had actually studio time booked with Chris Brown in february/march, but Chris just had to put his fist in Rihanna's face and spoil all the fun.

Anyway, great video! Always fun to watch Teddy Riley videos, there's an old great "documentary" on him @ YouTube that everyone should watch.

Incorrect information : this video is taken from a show recorded LIVE in December 2008 in NEW YORK.
And now available on per per view (and DL) at http://b-aa-d.com
It's only some usd 10.00 and it's more than worth it !

Teddy Rilley was in Toronto for a meet up with fans and special guests, that is totally another matter.

:)

Nice find!:)

Hopefully Ted has something up his sleeve for some future releases - If he doesn't bring back some kinda New Jack, someone else will..

well according to his latest ramblings (as of April 2009), he's recording again with his bands Guy and Blackstreet. maybe he can bring back the swingbeat in a fresh(ish) style.

and several years back he also hoped to cover Heaven Can Wait with one of the acts. hopefully we'll hear that final product because it's his best work in a long while then, and ever since imo.

Riley will tour with BLACKstreet and GUY from june to november this year.
More to come from the KING OF NEW JACK SWING !!!

Teddy did an amazing job on Keith Sweat's semi-tour the "Sweat Hotel". You can see excerpts from that on Youtube, too.

Either way, I really do hope Michael works with Teddy. Teddy's probably one of the most underrated producers ever. He never got the props he deserved from his big run in the early 90's.

Sounds AWESOME! :kickass: OMG, if MJ will do Remember The Time live in London I am gonna DIE in bliss!! :stretcher I already love the RTT rehearsal...so I am really hoping he'd include that in the set list this time. That song is awesome and so is teh choreograpy!!

My favorite MJ album is 'Dangerous'! Teddy is amazing!! He is one of my favorite composers and producers around the world.....Hope him to visit Korea someday to have a concert not for only business trips.
