In the last couple of days many have wondered why the Jackson Family has agreed to do an interview with Oprah Winfrey. Taj Jackson, nephew of Michael, has just cleared this up. They want to set the record straight!

Talked to my grandma before she did it.We all want to clear MJ’s name.That’s our first priority. We are trying to set the record straight .
I am the first person who is angry at Oprah and how she turned her back at my uncle. However you let things linger and the world believes.
I personally don’t care what Oprah thinks, but I do care what her millions of audience thinks about my uncle. Esp. when it’s not true at all

Saturday Oprah visited the Jackson family home in Encino California for an interview with Michael’s parents. A couple of hours ago Karen Faye, Michael’s longtime make-up artists and confidant, tweeted about this on Twitter. This is the unedited transcript from Twitter:
Oprah’s agenda is to convince the world that her opinion of Michael is the right one. I pray her agenda is apologetic.
Judge Judy beats her ratings in her present time slot. She wants to make sure her viewers follow her. It’s business. SHOW BUSINESS
This is Oprah’s chance to RIGHT her wrong. Let us see what she chooses. I am sure her only concern is her own ratings…not MJ or his family
She will go with what will give her the highest ratings.
What most people outside of show business do not understand is that it is BIG BUSINESS. Making stars and celebs is all arranged,bought&paid4

Sorry, but the Oprah followers have already made up their minds, after they have watched Oprah in action for the last several years, I don't see that particular crowd changing their minds. UNLES Oprah, herself, says: I WAS WRONG!

And if, as reported, Lisa Marie makes an appearance, anything GOOD the Jacksons say, will go right out of the window, in my opinion. With Oprah's "encouragement," Lisa Marie will be there to point out how Michael died the same way her father died.

I can understand the grandson wanting to protect his grandmother, but in my opinion, Ms. Katherine is just trying to sell her book.
 
Pardon my ignorance, but how has Oprah influenced a negative opinion of Michael?

I've only ever seen her early '90s special with him, in which I thought she was very sympathetic toward him. What has she done since that makes you guys say that she's disrespected him?

Matty she has constantly try to make out mj was guilty for the child-sex allegations against him and tries to make him out to be some total obessed drug addict.

I hope people are smart enough to see through Randy & Howard Mann's scam.

Why is MJJC, an MJ fanclub, supporting the Wrestling porn king's book? I have wanted to ask that question for a while now....because there is always a jackson vault banner at the top of the page.

MJJC should not be supporting ANYTHING that goes against MJ's estate. Michael Jackson's estate = Michael Jackson is part of MJ's final wishes.

She said some pretty bad things in the early '90s, I know. But she's retracted everything she's said while with her ex-husband. I don't think I need to get into that for the thousandth time.

She never said he was "some total obsessed drug addict". She has alluded to his problems with prescription medications in the past, as have their other siblings, including Janet.

Did you not know that randy do not liket the oprah interview that katherine and joe did, and that report from radioonline was another lie about randy, randy is not behind the oprah interview.
