I didn't know Titiyo is Swedish :eek:

I like The Ark and oh the new song Release me by Agnes Carlsson is good!
All Swedish bands I like sing in English though. I just don't like the sound of Swedish that much.. lol except Promoe's Svennebanan! :rofl: It's hilarious!
 
I like the glaringly obvious band: ABBA! :D I like some songs by Roxette and Sommaren är Kort by Thomas Ledin is a brilliant summer hit! :sun: I'm not really knowledgable about newer Swedish bands though.
 
yes she is. We also have. The hives, bjorn and john, Robyn, Björn skifs.. I dont know who is Big outside sweden really.
 
i like darin album flashback. its really good! and of course abba and ace of base.
 
YAY! I'm 3rd generation Swede in America. I forget all the traditional music my grandpa showed me. Wish I could find it.

But a great vocal jazz group Swedes have is The Real Group. I love them!
 
There are some great Swedish artists and bands! I like for example Frida Hyvönen, Tiger Lou, Jenny Wilson, Lykke Li, Fever Ray, Peter Bjorn and John, The Radio Dept., Kleerup, José Gonzaléz... And so many more! I wish Finnish music was as good as Swedish.
 
I've been a huge fan of The Ark since 2005, and for those of you who haven't heard Ola Salo (the singer) and company I have to say: download their music, now!

They will remind you of Queen, David Bowie etc. :)
 
Oh, I was a huge fan of Ace of Base as a teen. I have been in love with Swedish music ever since I was a kid. I love the language. I used to listen to Swedish Radio for years and there were lots of music I loved, but I don't remember many names. Europa is Swedish group too. They were very popular in our country in 80s.

By the way, one of the members of Ace of Base is a huge fan of Michael Jackson. She traveled over the world always with CDs with Michael's songs. She sent her love to Michael after the performance at WMA 96. :)

The swedish music I like is Robyn, KENT and Swedish House Mafia.
