I wanted to recap the events leading up to Xscape and now.

After BAD 25, were speculating on the next new Michael Jackson album with many leaks being released on to the internet, something was coming. August 2013, a leak that angered many Michael Jackson fans was released, Slave 2 The Rhythm, Justin Bieber frequently Tweeted about the song, optimistic that it would be released by the end of August for promotion for the album Xscape set for December 2013.

A week later, Timbaland announces that he is posthumously working with Michael and that he is going to set the first single as Chicago, he said his voice sounded 'current', yet many fans got it confused with Chicago 1945, the song was actually intended for 'Michael' with an alternative rock mix.

It came to December and no single was released at all, yet a song named "I Was The Loser", giving more excitement. It took till about February until someone big happened, a YouTube video had shown a preview of Slave To The Rhythm remixed by Timbaland, it was to promote the Xperia Z2 and the orchestral vibe at the start gave praise to Timbaland and fans were satisfied by the choice instead of Justin Bieber's version.

More speculation continued, Xscape was theb announced on March 30th on American TV and caught on to media worldwide as if it was an April-fools joke the next day, it stated the album would contain 8 songs with, with 8 original versions which gave satisfaction to fans and a sense of approval. The Xscape teaser was somewhat concise, yet was shown to media across the world.

It was rumoured that Love Never Felt So Godd would become the first single, some fans didn't like this idea yet without even hearing the updated version. Listening parties started for Xscape gaining very positive reviews, they all said Love Never Felt So Good was the strongest and classic Michael Jackson, yet some stubborn fans wouldn't have it. The album was stated as a very dancy album, with every song could be a potential single and some labelled it as a B-side for Off The Wall.

May 1st during the iHeart Music Awards, it was announced that the first single would be Love Never Felt So Good, it appeared with Usher dancing to it, many fans approved. May 2nd, Love Never Felt So Good was released worldwide with two verions, one with Justin Timberlake, both videos got a few million on YouTube. On May 4th in the UK, the iTunes chart had 3 versions of Love Never Felt So Good in the top 30, yet the overall result reached the top 25, if released on a Monday, Love Never Felt So Good would have debuted in the top 20. BBC Radio 2 debuted the solo version and gained much airplay worldwide and boosted Xscape up on the Amazon and iTunes chart.

Sony Music had released 5 previews of songs fron Xscape throughout the next few days and gained fantastic feedback from fans, Do You know Where Your Children Are (New Mix) gained negative feedback from most fans. A Place With No Name gained mostly positive feedback.

Soon Xscape was released, it was rumoured that Hot Fun in the Summer Time will be released as a bonus on Xscape but wasn't. It didn't stop the album from being number one worldwide including the UK and Spain, in the US, Xscape was beaten by The Blacl keys after some harsh comments. To think that many albums didn't hit number one, like Robin Thicke's album, it's very hard to get number one! It was very successful for a man who isn't here to promote himself. For promotion, two 30 second adverts were broadcast on to televisions worldwide one for the album (LNFSG) and one for the Xperia Z2 (STTR). The album charted well and is the 10th biggest selling album of the year so far (Worldwide).

Later, Slave To The Rhythm was to be promoted by a hologram at the BBMA's, many believed Justin Bieber may appear on the track and it would become the next single, yet the hologram was broadcast, the easiest way to explain it was 'animation' it wasn't Michael but it was based on Michael, what did people expect? Michael Jackson? It boosted the single for Love Never Felt So Good and the song itself and to date gained 20 million YouTube views, half the amount of Love Never Felt So Good which gained 40 million views and was a montahe featuring Justin Timberlake. Airplay was really increasing! Love Never Felt So Good gained number 8 in the UK and number 10, Michael's highest charting single since You Rock My World (Other than Kne More Chance, no 5 in the UK). Even Slave To The Rhythm set a record, it was in the top 50 of the Billboard Charts, thanks to the viral video. Another viral video was released and stunned the world as a young teenager danced to Billie Jean boosting it to number 14 on the Billboard Charts.

Promotion from here slowed down, it was announced that A Place With No Name would be the second single worldwide, the second single from Michael was not released worldwide, so there is a chart possibility if we all buy it. The video will consist of two versions one by the performers of 'One'.

As stated, Loving You will be released as a bridging single two weeks before the second single to radios worldwide, already, the song has heavy rotation on Radio 2, and is in the A-List category.

So whilst I may have missed a lot out, or maybe it's just the obvious stuff, I wanted to revive the memories Xscape has given so far, everyone who has listened to Love Never Felt So Good liked it and it gained airplay every where, these are the highlights not every detail! End of Part 1.
