If you do not mind, as a former associate of Michael Jackson I would like to ask you about your opinion on his posthumous album?

Steve Lukather: What is it? Of course, that I have something against this question! What the hell I should talk about this album? Are you kidding? I do not understand why I should promote Michael Jackson? Fu*k him! He's dead! He was a good man, and that's it! I worked with him almost 30 years ago. I recorded what I had to record and that's enough. He was not my friend or my loved ones. Please ask meaningful question, because I won't talk about this.

Wow!! why is he so nasty??

I don't really see how this was worth a thread, esp if the interviewee is a battleful, insolent fellow making a mountain of a molehill.

'I do not understand why I should promote Michael Jackson' ..says it all really. Sour grapes / professional jealousy........ whatever.

To be fair to the guy, he had a tenuous and brief professional relationship with Michael 30 years ago, so I can understand how he could feel that he could have nothing of merit to say about the album. It must be frustrating for some people who have worked to find themselves being interviewed with Michael and being asked about him and not their work.

However, he could have been more gracious ...
