Status of MJ v Universal Music Group?

Hi Everyone,

I started a thread way back in July 2005 (http://www.mjjcommunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16931) about MJ's legal action against Universal Music Group. I couldn't work out whether I could re-activate that thread.

I haven't heard anything about the action in a long time. The most recent article I posted in that previous thread referred to the Judge allowing claims of breach of contract and accounting to proceed. Does anyone know what the current status of the action is or whether it was ever finalised?

The case has been dismissed back in 2004 for MJ's request.

but dismised with or without prejudice so mj could start the case up again at a later time? obviously he asked for it to be dismissed because of the trial.ten again if mj was gonna start it up again i guess he would have done so by now

Thanks LeslieMJHu. It's a shame that the matter was dismissed, but I guess MJ had other things to think about at the time. Do you have a copy of the documents filed that requested the matter be dismissed?
