Two more concerts have been slated for the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Main Stage for the 2010 Wisconsin State Fair, presented by U. S. Cellular.

On Friday, August 6, Michael Jackson fans of all ages will have the opportunity to relive the hit songs of the late music legend’s career complete with an extraordinary laser spectacular when the Potawatomi Bingo Casino Main Stage welcomes The Spirit of Michael at 8 pm. The show features an M.J. tribute artist in a ghost-like atmosphere, and on several songs the show will be staged as if it were a live Michael Jackson concert setting. This is an audio and visual journey that true Michael Jackson fans will not want to miss! The award-winning a cappella group InPulse will open the show with a performance that will showcase the ultimate instrument – the human voice. Reserved seat tickets for The Spirit of Michael are $10 and go on sale Saturday, March 6 at 9 am.

The Potawatomi Bingo Casino Main Stage will welcome season six American Idol winner Jordin Sparks on Sunday, August 8 for a 6 pm show. Jordin’s career has been a whirlwind of success since winning the coveted American Idol title. The critically-acclaimed Sparks toured with the Jonas Brothers, saw her self-titled debut go platinum while spawning three Top 5 hits on Billboard’s Pop singles chart including “Tattoo,” “No Air,” and “One Step at a Time.” An opening act for Jordin Sparks will be announced in the near future. Reserved seat tickets go on sale Saturday, March 6 at 9 am and will be available for $35, $25, and $15.

Tickets for these Potawatomi Bingo Casino Main Stage concerts along with tickets for the Wisconsin State Fair may be purchased online at WiStateFair.com or in person at the Wisconsin State Fair Administration Office in the Tommy G. Thompson Youth Center from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, March 6. Please note that the State Fair Box Office will NOT be open on March 6; therefore the Youth Center will serve as the on-site ticket selling location for these shows on March 6 ONLY.

Please enter Gate 5 off of S. 84th Street (just south of the Pettit Center) and park in the lot in front of the building. Admission to the Fair is required in addition to any concert ticket, and there is no unpaid seating in the venue. Fair concertgoers will be able to purchase discounted $5 Fair tickets when purchasing their concert tickets.

I'm gonna check this out-even if it is only a tribute show.:punk:

Ah I'm glad you posted that. I saw something about it on jsonline and forgot about posting it. Depending on where I am when the State Fair comes around, I'd love to try and go. Didn't get to go to the fair last year cuz I'm in Australia so yeah.... I have some cream puffs to catch up on anyhow :naughty:
