What are the songs by other artists (not MJ) that shows how you feel after Michael passed away? You know, those songs that might not exactly describe the way you feel, but still can make others get the overall picture of the inside of you.

For me...
two melancholy tunes

Everyday It Rains-Mary J. Blige
So Many Tears-Tupac

The title of each song says it all and if you know the songs and the lyrics, you know how I feel....

John Legend - Show Me

Stevie Wonder - Sir Duke

"Woman In Chains" by Tears For Fears. Not saying that Mike is a woman, but the overall message of the song could apply to him and his relationship with the media/mainstream public.

I listened to:

I will always love you - Whitney Houston
I Have Nothing also by WH
The World's Greatest - R.Kelly
Beautiful - Christina Aguilera
A moment like this - Leona Lewis

Candle in the Wind -Elton John

fix you by coldplay
chris martin wrote this song when his wife's father passed away.
i find this song very comforthing.

when you try your best but you don't succeed
when you get what you want but not what you need
when you feel so tired but you can't sleep
stuck in reverse

when the tears come streaming down your face
when you lose something you can't replace
when you love someone but it goes to waste
could it be worse?

lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
and I will try to fix you

high up above or down below
when you too in love to let it go
if you never try you'll never know
just what your worth

lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
and I will try to fix you

tears stream down your face
when you lose something you cannot replace
tears streaming down your face and I

tears stream down your face
i promise you I will learn from my mistakes
tears stream down your face and I

lights will guide you home
and ignite your bones
and I will try to fix you

I have been listening to Freddie and Queen. "These are the last days of our lives" is a wonder and is just about life.

Sometimes I get to feelin'
I was back in the old days - long ago
When we were kids when we were young
Thing seemed so perfect - you know
The days were endless we were crazy we were young
The sun was always shinin' - we just lived for fun
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don't know
The rest of my life's been just a show

Those were the days of our lives
The bad things in life were so few
Those days are all gone now but one thing is true
When I look and I find I still love you

You can't turn back the clock you can't turn back the tide
Ain't that a shame
I'd like to go back one time on a roller coaster ride
When life was just a game
No use in sitting and thinkin' on what you did
When you can lay back and enjoy it through your kids
Sometimes it seems like lately - I just don't know
Better sit back and go with the flow

Cos these are the days of our lives
They've flown in the swiftness of time
These days are all gone now but some things remain
When I look and I find no change

Those were the days of our lives - yeah
The bad things in life were so few
Those days are all gone now but one thing's still true
When I look and I find
I still love you

I still love you

"No one but you (Only the good die young)" by Brian May... =( He wrote it for Freddie but I think of Michael.

A hand above the water
An angel reaching the sky
Is it raining in Heaven -
Do you want us to cry?
And everywhere the broken-hearted
On every lonely avenue
No-one could reach them
No-one but you
Chorus:
One by one
Only the good die young
They're only flyin' too close to the sun
And life goes on -
Without you...
Another tricky situation
I get to drownin' in the blues
And I find myself thinkin'
Well, what would you do?
Yes, it was such an operation
Forever paying every due
Hell, you made a sensation
You found a way through - and
One by one
Only the good die young
They're only flyin' too close to the sun
We'll remember -
Forever...
And now the party must be over
I guess we'll never understand
The sense of your leaving
Was it the way it was planned?
And so we grace another table
And raise our glasses one more time
There's a face at the window
And I ain't never, never sayin' goodbye...
One by one
Only the good die young
They're only flyin' too close to the sun
Cryin' for nothing
Cryin' for no-one
No-one but you

The sadness has got new tears
Now they're falling gently on the ground
So invisible and clear
Memory loves you

I dont know why it just does :(

Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
You begin to wonder why you came

CHORUS:
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

CHORUS:
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

CHORUS:
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

CHORUS:
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
How to save a life
How to save a life

CHORUS:
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

CHORUS:
Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life
How to save a life
