Right at the start of Will You Be There i noticed Michael sampled Symphony 9 by Beethoven

Here you can listen to it its about 1:39 in




 
I love 'will you be there'...Mike's a genius man, he knows good music when he hears it....

...and the Free Willy video is off the chain...
 
Yeah, I remember reading this somewhere a few years back. beautiful song.
 
Yeah, he was sued by the symphony who did the performance when "Dangerous" was originally released because it was used without permission. Afterward, on all future pressings, they were credited.
 
Italian singer Al Bano sued him too, because he felt the melody resembled that of one of his songs, which it kind of does. But I think a judge said BOTH songs were rip offs of a third, Indian song. lol Who knew such a beautiful piece could be so controversial?

I had almost forgotten about this. Thanks DuranDuran. It's starting to all come back to memory now...
