SIGGY: YOU KNOW WHAT'S SO FUNNY, IS UH, THERE WAS A STATEMENT THAT WENT THROUGH THE STREETS I THINK, THAT OUR FAMILY WAS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH JOHN BRANCA.

CALLER: YES?

SIGGY: AND TO BE REAL HONEST, JOHN HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT GOOD TO OUR FAMILY. WHAT MOST PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND IS, MY UNCLE MICHAEL WAS A VERY SHREWD BUSINESSMAN. HE WAS THE NICEST MAN IN THE WORLD, BUT WHEN IT CAME TO DOTTING YOUR I'S AND DOTTING YOUR T'S, HE WS VERY ON POINT, AND THERE'S A REASON THAT JOHN BRANCA IS IN THAT POSITION, AS IS JOHN MCCLAIN. Think airhead Latoya will stop insinuating that Branca killed MJ? Sage is such an idiot...preaching against bullying. When she is the biggest bulky out there. Accusing people of murder without a shred of evidence is a form of bullying
 
Hope that answer meant all of the Jackson family have no problem with John Branca. I feel he has been doing an outstanding job.
 
In my opinion, Siggy must be talking about himself and his father (who has worked with The Estate of Michael Jackson in the past and appears to have a decent relationship with both men).

Because CLEARLY there are members of the Jackson family who just don't like Branca because Branca is in-charge and NONE of them are.

We can start that list with the name of Randy Jackson, who "probably" wakes up every morning in a cold sweat because he is NOT in charge of his brother's estate.

Then there is Mrs. Jackson who is on record, on a number of occasions, calling The Estate GREEDY and only filing lawsuits so that they can make money. She also spoke badly about The Estate to both Chris Hunt and Howard Mann, who then went on to repeat Mrs. Jackson's claims in public.

I would put Jermaine Jackson on that list also, he has said some snide things about The Estate. I don't think he is interested in running it, but if "Mother" was more in charge, he would certainly reap the benefits of same.

I truly believe there is some deep seeded anomisity amgonst some Jackson family members, simply because they feel as if THE FAMILY should be in charge, not Branca and McClain.

I bet Randy doesn't agree and neither does LaToya, Joe or Katherine. I would put Janet in that mix too since she agrees and listens to Randy all the time

I cannot help thinking that there is some sort of deal going on between some members of family and estate.
Thriller jacket deal (brothers had absolutely nothing to do with Thriller) came to my mind. Brothers made a deal with someone making Thriller jackets and he was to pay each of the three brothers the $100,000 each for signing the 1,000 leather jackets. There is no way that estate would let them do such a thing just like that. Hmm, I wonder?
 
^ Yeah, agree bubs. Esp with the estate paying off mrs j's korean lawsuit, they seem to be bending over backwards to accommodate the family.

Haven't a clue what to make of that statement from siggy, the memo doesn't seem to have reached mrs j, joe, latoya, randy, jermaine, taj etc. 'blood is greater than ink' statements come to mind. The family just seem really divided but all i'm really bothered about is what ppb think about the estate as they're the ones who are going to be working with the executors in the yrs to come.

Yes Hmm and what does he mean "as is my grandmother." I know for courtesy sake, the exec. may ask grandma her opinion, but she has no say in how the estate is run. That is an error that the Jacksons have. They do not really understand the role of grandma. Grandma is the children's guardian and gets some money. She had some input in the charity and that is about it.

Further, Jackson cousins and siblings should not have anything to say about how the estate is run, because Michael's estate has nothing to do with them. They could be happy or discontented with the estate as much as they like, because non of the wealth belongs to them!!

Siggy should be careful not to speak on behalf of his entire family, because it is very clear that some members of the Jackson family do NOT like John Branca! the most vocal ones have been Randy, LaToya, Jermaine and Katherine.

There are a bunch of people in that family who are still dumbfounded that they are'nt in charge of MJ's Estate and they constanlty express that through their actions and words.
 
That is nice to hear and I like how he talks about Michael. I don't think his whole family feels that way. Joe has never attended anything done by the estate for example. I believe some accept Michael's will and such and others feel they should be in charge.
 
Joe is having fun with his deals. Siggy also said that John has been good to his family. I wonder what the estate gave them on the side to get them out of their hair--the thriller jackets come to mind.
 
In their heads, MJ's Estate is theirs, which is absolutely NOT true. His estate belongs to his three children.

But with time the Jackson clan will eventually accept that reality. Already we see some signs. For instance, the siblings are going on tour this summer, possibly after realizing that they cannot invariably rely on the MJ Estate to feed them for the rest of their lives. KJ isn't getting sufficient cash from the Estate to spread around and when she finally passes it will only get worse as the income stream from the Estate will stop. Her attempts to cash in on MJ since his death have not been successful. Her ventures with Howard Mann and Melissa Johnson failed miserably. Her involvement with Christ hunt for the fake MJ tribute did not bear much fruit either. Christ hunt and his cronies went bankrupt due to poor ticket sales.
 
They can't even agree on their feelings towards the same person...WTF?! o_O Well Mj said it best.... "Tight knit my ass." :doh:
 
I think the ones with an agenda over not having "Control" are the ones who have problems.
I think Katherine has resolved any issues she has and seems to be supportive of Estate and their projects now.
Mainly it is Latoya and Randy missing in action whe it comes to the Estate .. Jermaine has hinted but is vague
on where he stands. I think he to will back off. Latoya has been very silent with her conspiracies lately

technically fashion cannot be copyrighted. So Estate might have had no control over those jackets. For example that Thriller Jacket was done by John Landis's wife. Seeing how easily that jacket is copied I believe there's no way to stop it.
 
^ The jacket deal seemed to have been authorised by the estate as they received 10% of the gross price - whilst the bros got nearly 20%, presumably for the added value of their signatures. It seems to have been a deal jackie put together with some business contact of jermaines which is prob why it nearly ended in a lawsuit.
 
Ha Ha Interesting. However, it's normal for big family. They all have different opinions. The funny part is they all ignore other people's opinions and they did not seem to communicate to each other. It's so obvious that many J family members are not happy about John Branca. La Toya said Branca is behind MJ's death. Randy also had lots of issue with Branca and McClain.

Jackie might be the smart one to collaborate with the estate.
 
It´s normal a family has different opinion about things.
