Shania Twain’s new single (‘Life’s About To Get Good’
fell short of my expectations. I think she needed a stronger track that would signal her comeback after 15 years.
Also, I found that single a substandard track for her caliber.
I am really looking forward to listening to her brand new album that comes out in September. Especially, given the fact that Shania Twain wrote single-handedly all the new songs, which in my opinion is really admirable.
Mutt Lange, her ex-husband & long-time co-writer of her previous successful albums, is history now. So, this whets my appetite even more about the material of her new album.
She encountered several sad incidents in the last few years. But, I hope her new album will not be saddled with unpleasant themes because I personally prefer her happy, musical aspect.
I wish her new album to be as good & uplifting as her ‘Up!’ album.
Anyway, even if her new album will not meet with success, this would mean nothing. Shania Twain is very talented, very beautiful, effortlessly charming & so appealingly down-to-earth. She has nothing to prove anymore.
