Scott Weiland (former Stone Temple Pilots frontman) Found Dead on tour bus

I heard the news a few hours ago while listening to the radio when it was announced. The report says he died in his sleep. It's too early to know what caused it, but he has had issues with drug addiction in the past.

Very sad news......may he rest in peace. His family and friends will be in my prayers.

To be honest, I became familiar with his name and talents in his Velvet Revolver days.

A true loss for anyone who enjoys the raw, honest energy of rock. He will be missed.

Sad, indeed. It's been reported that a small amount of cocaine was found on the tour bus and one of his bandmates was arrested for possession.
