Lets Make Michael Number one , one last time.

As a tribute to Michael i think we should go and buy an album. Lets make our king, number one, to show that he will live on no matter what

Michael we love you xoxo

I think that if there is some un-released stuff it should be released! That will get to Number 1!!!

His sales will SKYROCKET. look what happened to Elvis and the Beatles. And J is bigger than they are. So I predict Thriller will outsell the eagles and his albums in the U.K. and ALL over the world will be on the top 10 of all time.

I mean look at itunes, hes already there.

I AGREE 100000000% WITH THIS!
I WILL BUYING NEW COPIES OF ALBUMS AND SINGLES. MIKE DESERVES THIS AFTER ALL HE DID FOR US!!!

(sorry for caps, but I feel very strongly about this!)

hes been working on new stuff for years now, someone will have access to it, it would be madness to no release it, the world would unite in love for michael and it would be number one for at LEAST 10 weeks everywhere.

but this all seems accademic after recent tragic events

his music sales are about to go to unprecedented levels whether we do anything special or not. just watch

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he outdoes Thriller with his next album, whatever they put together to release that he was working on

If you thought his sales were high now, just wait and see now that hes died :|

He will be like Elvis.... Make more money when he's dead than alive (Well in this decade) but its sad for that to happen! I think that if the album record is beaten... It has to be another Michael Jackson album!!

On Pop itunes, he has 124 songs in the top 240. Over 300 tracks charted on top 1000, around 150 more on R&B charts. On Amazon top 15 albums, all 15 are Jackson albums. Music world is facing an earthquake.

I've just looked at Amazon.uk's Top 100 Albums
- up-dated every hour.
MJ has the Top EIGHT Best Sellers! (Plus No.11).
Not counting several others in the Top 30, etc. We
will see how this impacts on the Album Chart
on Sunday - if the frantic buying of his Albums
carries on across all of the sources, that The OCC
use for the UK Album Charts.....

new certifications should rain from everywhere as well.

Sony are likely to release an album with new songs now. I can see them doing it around November. If they do, it would probably end as the best selling album worldwide this year. I just can't believe we will now get "posthume" albums, that world just can't be related to Jackson.

Michael Jackson died tragically, and left an entire world in grief and shock. But he did one more thing. He crossed the barrier, from a living legend, to a historic icon that will never be forgotten or surpassed. Michael is bigger now then he ever was. I wish this didn't happen, I would rather have seen him just retire and be with his kids. But that did not happen, and now we are seeing history unfold. Michael Joseph Jackson is the most talented, most loved, most famous entertainer the world has seen. His personality was creativity, wisdom, innovation and most importantly LOVE. Music and Dance died last night, but the legacy lives on, in all our hearts.

I will never forget Michael Jackson, and I will tell people about him the day I grow old.

Never forget this day, and let your children know who he was.

Long live The King Of Pop Rock and Soul!

Michael Jackson 1958-2009

'Billie Jean' is #1 on French iTunes. Beat It and Thriller are at 3 and 4, he has 14 songs in the top 25. He has the full top 7 on the album chart.

He has full top 5 album charts on iTunes almost everywhere.

I have done some calculations from iTunes, on US iTunes alone, I get over 400,000 singles sold in less than 24 hours.
Counting albums as well and all countries, he certainly sold over 1 million records today on iTunes alone.

His sales will SKYROCKET. look what happened to Elvis and the Beatles. And J is bigger than they are. So I predict Thriller will outsell the eagles and his albums in the U.K. and ALL over the world will be on the top 10 of all time.

I mean look at itunes, hes already there.

If the RIAA were to count digital albums Mike has long surpassed the eagles

10. LoveGame

Number Ones is back in the chart as the second-highest new entry, but this is not because of the sad news last night.

There are only 2 new entries, but 14 re-entries on this week's album chart, of which 9 (including the Michael Jackson title) are retrospective/greatest hits collections. This is higher than the average number of re-entries, and can be explained by discounting/promotions in store. The Irish chart week ends at midnight on Thursday evening, so there would only have been a few hours of sales included while Michael Jackson was headline news.

^^^^Hurry up. He is selling at an incredible rate so far. I just went to best buy and there were no more Mj CDs left, it was completely sold-out.

he is just destroying the charts - estimated one day sales world wide have been estimated by some at 5 million.

I've never seen an act selling so much in all my life. Hw could do 6 million easily i mean 10 singles in the top us top 20 and 7 albums in us itunes top 10 surely must be lookin' at 1 million in the U.S. in a day.

its not only about his digital sales for the week.. i bought a physical album myself today.. so there are millions of physical albums to add.. thriller for example is said to be sold out in entire germany. his hits compilations are about to be not available anymore on shelves. this is so crazy.

someone told me thriller has sold 14 mil today. This is probably a stretch, but thats what someone told me.

Like many have said, and I quote "June 25, 2009. the day music died."
- People all over the world.

Only the King of Pop.

"NEW YORK (AP)

After the pop icon's death was announced Thursday, Amazon.com sold out within minutes all CDs by Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. That comes Friday from vice president of music and video Bill Carr.
Carr says 60 percent of Amazon's CD orders Thursday were for Michael Jackson music, something he called "stunning."
And Barnes and Noble said that its Web site and brick-and mortar stores are currently sold out of most Jackson CDs, DVDs and books.
Both companies say they are working to get the products back in stock."
