At the end of major Rhythmic Gymnastics competitions, there is always a gala show where the best gymnasts perform routines that are not like their regular routines that are judged, but with much more emphasis on dance and expression, a show for the audience. A few weeks ago, 2008 Olympic bronze medalist Anna Bessonova used one of these galas to make a tribute for Michael. Just thought I'd post it since I'm sure not many of you would see it otherwise ;) She's quite out of shape since she hasn't really been training for months, but I personally thought it was beautiful nonetheless.

I love gymnastics so this was really cool! You can hear the crowd singing along....sweet! I remember another video of a gymnast doing the moonwalk on the balance beam o_O while TWYMMF was playing! :D

I heard about that! (big gymn fan here....) Leave it to Anna to do that! :D There have been a lot of gymnasts over the years (both Artistic and Rhythmic) that have been huge MJ fans.

Artistic Russian Gymnast Yelena Zamolodchikova did the moonwalk during many of her floor routines over the years and the crowd always got a kick out of it.

This one comes to mind immediately as she was just a kid starting out on the international scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjVviUi6_I4 She went on to go to two consecutive Olympic Games and won medals and all :D
