Giving a little love to the underrated and rarily heard Rebbie. I'm listening to Centipede on The Vault 7892 at live365.com and man is she great.

Besides this song and Fly Away, is there anything else she really stands out on? Too bad she's not recording anymore.

I saw centipede, and even though she's dazzling, the song and vid is not my type. :(
 
I remember when this song was recorded I enjoyed it then and I still like it now..thank you for posting...:)

Maybe she will record something soon again. She is a sweetheart.

No one said anything negative until your post. And comments like this only further encourage people to say something negative. (Some don't need encouragment, but opening the door by saying something like this only leads some to have to post retaliatory comments that derail the whole thread). Can we please stay on topic and not feed the desire to be contentious?

As for me, I really like Centipede. I remeber it from when I was a little girl. At first I was scared of the video with all of the centipedes crawling. It was really creepy (those bugs with all of those legs. Yuck!) But the song was awesome for me. I listen to it everyone once in a while. A fave of mine.
 
lol everytime i hear centipede in my head i hear: rebbie singing "when the centipede is hot" and mj singing "CENTIPEDE!!!" LOL
 
I really like Rebbie. I have her Yours Faithfully album, it's so smooth and relaxed sounding!
 
I love rebbie! I have all her releases..even "Save the Stress for Last" which was recorded a few years ago...
