About a week ago, Dr. Tohme issued a statement strongly denying the rumor that Michael Jackson has skin cancer. In the days that followed that statement, AEG President Randy Phillips said that Michael was in excellent health and that Michael himself brushed off any skin cancer rumors.

A few days ago, pictures surfaced of Michael Jackson exiting from a doctors office. His bodyguard was holding a bag which included a logo and lettering that stated:

Our members posted this picture and needless to say things got out of hand on the board. Many members were terrified and others became very upset that it was even posted. We decided to move the thread to the support forum where members can share their concern and be supportive of one another.

Unfortunately, The Sun tabloid picked up on the thread and ran with the story with the very same photo. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-marked-skin-cancer.html?OTC-RSS&ATTR=Bizarre

We have now decided to remove the thread in its entirety because of the blatant disregard of Michael's privacy by the tabloids. We inadvertently fed them with our genuine concern and that is something we as a community never wanted to do!

We must be very careful from this moment on. This forum is to support one another AND talk about Michael issues that worry us. But we must watch what we post (pictures highlighting medical bags and private physician slips) because the tabs are watching us very closely. The tabs are looking for their next slanderous story about Michael and this time we fed them.

Thanks! I think if Michael was really sick he would not be doing as much as in recent days and was not with the parts of your body to show (the face and neck), gives feeling he wishes to show: "Look, I do not I'm with skin cancer." Why believe that if it were true he would keep it a secret (for some time that the press always find it) and we saw the photos he is well and happy. He is not sad or down.
And the package in your hand means nothing, it may be that the package is used by patients to the clinic to take their medication home, ie a package of standard clinical practice. Everyone must keep calm and have positive thoughts. Think about bad things, bad things attracts.​

Prayer is a wonderful thing to do. Have you read our prayer thread in the main forum? You should add your prayer there.

Michael's spokesperson Dr. Tohme said Michael is doing fine. Randy Phillips of AEG said Michael is doing fine too. Just keep Michael in your prayers and all will be well.

And PLEASE remember that the tabloids READ here at MJJC. So if you go wild with speculation, (or even speculate at all?) that material can show up as tomorrow's "news," even if it was only your thoughts of the moment. PLEASE keep that in mind when you post.

That much about the level of journalism in tabloids! *puke*
But yeah this happened not only once in the past so we should really hold on to the rules.
I honestly think someones health is their very own business!

It's so disgusting how low media goes... just take Patrick Swayze latest 'news' as an example. It is disgusting!
I've decided never to use those internet services again who jumped on that wagon and I'll not read any newspaper again who jumped on that wagon. It's too dangerous for me cuz I do lose all my respect honestly.

Unfortunately this is just a thing that happens with tabloids, and you can't avoid this kind of thing on a public internet site. I think we just need to accept that it can happen, we can't possibly censor everything we say out of fear.

This is not about censor ship... to me personally this is about personal respect.
Someones health... even when a celebrity is private... no but... simply end of story right there.

What media just presented again with Patrick Swayze... bringing news that he's dead when he's not... that's disgusting and jumping in ones face disrespect to me.

Then again yeah you can of cuz sit there and keep telling yourself 'oh this is not to change anyway' or you can simply not give this site a click anymore. I'm not saying I'm changing or healing the world this way... I'm saying I'm healing or better saving my very own world this way from this level of 'journalism' (please don't take this term in this sentence in any way in it's original meaning! thank you).
