Love this... I don't think there's a Jackson 5 video out there I haven't seen... Makes me depart in a way and stop time when watching him at that time, it feels safe in a way, even though he went through hell not being able to experience his childhood by playing with other kids outside his siblings and the like.. But I draw comfort from the oldies, the hell that was the music industry wasn't half as bad and terrible as it is now, and it Was bad those times..... There were so many talented artists back in the day, that one being inspired by something like that is really good. Now... who's left to be inspired by, outside Stevie Wonder and other older artists who stand No chance before a market filled with young, slightly talented children/young adults. It is a very downward direction, very very downward.. to be fascinated with youth like that they you're taking from their childhood and 'implant' your horrible crap to their heads so they can follow you and make you feel that you're nothing without them unless you're doing what they tell you. And Michael felt this Even from that time, that they told him to sing a certain way, for instance, and he felt he had no real control over his career up until "Destiny"... but he'd agree that it's much, much worse these days, when you're only a puppet of the mainstream vibes if you're venturing to Hollywood and get under the controlling umbrellas of record companies like Sony Music. At least the way Michael and some other artists were asked to sing back then was Really nice-sounding, really beautiful. Which it's not happening, not anymore, when mostly robot noises can be heard on the radio/the TV. Just inhumane-sounding/behaving people..
