I'm shocked!!!

Too many good entertainers die too early.......why?

Rest In Peace Heavy D. :rip:

This came totally out of nowhere... 44, who would have thought. R.I.P.

Apparently his death was medically related, due to respiratory issues.

R.I.P. D

One of his last tweets was saying RIP to Joe Frazier, he didn't know he too would die that day. RIP Heavy D, I can't say I was a fan but I enjoyed your rap in Jam and have seen a few of your films. RIP.

RIP D, gone too soon, 44 is so young :(

Heavy D was a true legend of rap, he always rapped about positive things, he was never cursing or creating beef or anything like that unlike other more famous rappers, its a big loss to the world of rap.

I heard bout this sad news yesterday, my condolences & prayers go out to his family and friends

I'm really sorry to hear this. I remember when one of "The Boys" died and Heavy was so hurt by this he took some time off from music. He was very hurt. It seemed like he was a very likeable guy who really cared for those around him. I hate that so many people I grew up with are dying. It's like I'm losing part of myself. :(

I don't have tv, so I was rather saddened to hear this news when my sister text it to me. May he rest in peace.
