Radio Leak Of 'You Rock My World'

I'm curious to find out whether the radio leak of You Rock My World back in '99 was any different to the version that made it on to the album?

Does anyone still have the leaked version (if it was infact different)?

It was likely the radio version which has a shorter intro (without him saying "I don't think they're ready for this one.) It plays a few notes and then goes straight to him saying "Dark Child.. I like that". The ending is a bit shorter too, I think.

That's just speculation on my behalf though, maybe someone else can help a bit more.

it had a voice stamp of the original radio station on it ... it was madd annoying but I honestly missed it by the time the real single was released to radio. I kept saying the voice stamp, were is should have been :lol:

Other than that not being there, it was the same track.

The song was not leaked in 1999

It was not even recorded in that year. The song leaked around June 2001.

It actually is faster. I remember discussing this very same topic several times on other boards. For some odd reason they reduced the speed on the album version, so I yet to this day preffer the radio version of YRMW - has a little more "oomph" thanks to the faster BPM...
