Derek Bolland aka Derek B was Hip Hop legend in our part of London in the mid/late 80s, very unique at the time, brought sampling into the mainstream. There was a group of guys at the time forging their way in the London Hip Hop scene, with their own unique sound, which I'm glad to say I was around to witness.

Dizzee Rascal was heavily influenced by the whole scene....
