Question bout a lil lyric in "Bad".

This lil lyric in Bad has always caught my attention and I never knew exactly what it meant with much detail, but when he sings, "Throwing stones.... to hide your hands." What do you suppose this means?

Based on the story of the video, my guess is people harassing you because they don't have what you have (?)

Edit: I looked it up and here's what I found:

There's a Spanish idiom, in English literally "to throw the stone and hide the hand" which means "to start some kind of trouble and then not take responsibility for that".

Means doing something underhandedly or trying to take the focus off of your wrong-doings by casting someone else in a bad light. My grandma used to say that all the time "he throwing stones trying to hide his hand" lol.
