Question about the lower quality shots

Where did they come from. I mean they were definitely filmed using different cameras, you can tell by the difference in quality but what I wonder is why they used that camera for the middle shots when there is middle of the stage shots in HD ex Beat it. I thought maybe they came directly from the inhouse cameras they had set up, but I wasn't sure. I think you can see Michael on the big screen during Jam.
