Problem with a friend.

Ok I'm moving to Manchester on the 16th of June to stay with a friend, but he's now getting suspicious of my intentions just because I don't reply to his Message's or Texts right away I have told him he's starting to get confused but I've told him numerous times that my current College course is ending soon (4th of June) and I need to get work finished e.t.c. and I'm stressing out and don't have time to answer phone calls and chat for 30 + mins all the time or text him all night I'm thinking he's going to back out of the idea. What should I do?

did you try explaining your situation to him?..that you are very busy with exams and that you would love to chat with him..but you need all of your free time to study...and tell him to please try and be patient with you until after June 4th. I wish you good luck..
