After warming up on the Lopez Tonight show, Prince kicked off his 21 day run at the Forum in LA last night with a solid performance. To everybody’s pleasant surprise, the Purple One did a cover of Late Michael Jackson’s 1979 hit ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough’ and then later also brought out Eva Longoria to dance along with him. And he didn’t kick her off the stage.

Great! :) I wonder why Prince himself never sings along with the lyrics when he covers MJ though?

He looks fantastic for his age btw!

I guess Prince like the funky rythm, but finds the lyrics a little too sugar - I think by the way that Prince has got his music back on the right track, there was a long period where I lost interest in him, but he is back on track in my opinion
 
Loved it .. Prince is also alongside MJ for me. Great to see Prince having fun!
 
Amazing. I would love to see Prince live. He's an amazing performer.
 
I saw this yesterday and noticed how at the end of DSTYGE Prince looked/pointed upwards (as if to the heavens). It came across to me as if he was giving a sign of acknowledgement/respect to Michael "up there".
 
Also, Prince seems to have been doing a lot of MJ stuff at concerts since MJ passed. I think it's really nice he keeps MJ alive with his fans too

Loved seeing this, Prince doesn't seem to speak out about people that much so for him to do this is amazing. Amazing live performer seriously if u r in la go see him, I'm so jealous of those who are given that opportunity at the moment.

The superstar singer Prince has kicked off her 21-night stand in Los Angeles, California at the Forum. There were many celebrities spotted at the opening night concert, including the star of Desperate Housewives, Eva Longoria. The concert is generating headlines with Michael Jackson fans, since Prince sang a version of the King of Pop's hit song, "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" which had the fans dancing, and the entire arena on its feet.

As The Source reports, Prince performed the classic Jackson song. As fans know, the "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" song is featured on Jackson's Off the Wall, album. The song is a fan favorite, and one that the fans were thrilled to see another iconic performer take on, Prince.

On June 25 of this year, it will be two years since Jackson unexpectedly passed away. Many fans are planning to pay tribute to the star in various ways, and for fans who were present at the first Prince concert, it was something unexpected to hear the star sing a Michael Jackson song, but it was thrilling for many. Prince is also thought to be one of the most successful entertainers, and artistic visionaries to ever create music, and fans are thrilled that they are having the opportunity to watch the star perform live.

His backup singers are doing most of the vocals, but I appreciate the acknowledgement.

BTW....with tickets being $25 you would think the place would be sold out.

They were friendly rivals. I would have loved for the two of them to work together live.

Prince is my second favorite artist next to MJ, and now i lijke him
even more!!
 
I may not be a fan of Prince, but I do admire of what he did for Michael.
 
Looks like the concert is not sold out at all. And looks like it is a very small concert.

Great tribute though.
 
why is he being a fake and playing MJ's song? he doesn't like Mike
