A while ago, @staywild23 gave me the idea of writing down positive affirmations for myself as a way to deal with negative emotions. Here are some I came up with that I thought others could use in times of stress too (especially catered to MJ fans, especially the first one, although anyone can use them). Here they are:
1. MY LOVE FOR MICHAEL IS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF.
2. PEOPLE'S NEGATIVE OPINIONS DO NOT MATTER.
3. GO TO SLEEP AT NIGHT COMFORTABLE AND SATISFIED. NEVER GO TO BED ANGRY.
4. NO ONE KNOWS ME BETTER THAN ME.
5. THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SOMEONE WHO LOVES ME.
6. THINGS WILL ALWAYS GET BETTER.
7. THE TRUTH ALWAYS PREVAILS.
8. PEOPLE'S NEGATIVITY MAY BE STRONG, BUT YOU ARE A HUNDRED TIMES STRONGER.
