Popular 90's bands All-4-One and Color Me Badd to do tribute concerts for Michael

All-4-One and Color Me Badd are set to electrify the Filipino fans with the greatest hits of The King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

These award-winning American Bands will mount a back-to-back concert at the Araneta Coliseum on September 7, at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on September 9 and in Limketkai Atrium in Cagayan de Oro on September 10.

Both iconic ‘90s bands are set to thrill their Filipino audience in their Philippine Concert Tour Series with a repertoire of all their multi-platinum songs and the greatest hits of Michael Jackson.

Color Me Badd is the global phenomenon behind the monster hits “I Wanna Sex You Up,” “I Adore Mi Amor,” “All 4 Love,” “Wildflower,” “Thinkin’ Back,” “Slow Motion,” “Sexual Capacity,” “The Earth, The Sun And The Rain” and “Close To Heaven.”

The R&B/hip hop group was discovered in 1990 by Robert Bell of Kool & The Gang. It is composed of Bryan Abrams, Mark Calderon and Kevin Thornton.

All-4-One, on the other hand, is acknowledged in the music industry as the “Dukes of R&B.” Their biggest hit “I Swear” from their eponymous debut CD released in 1994 won a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1995.

The song also enjoyed an 11-week run on top of the Billboard Hot 100 and has been named by ASCAP as one of the greatest love songs of the 20th century.

But it wasn’t as if All-4-One is one-hit-wonder.

Another song, “I Can Love You Like That,” zoomed up the charts -- as with “These Arms,” “Beautiful As U,” “I Will Be Right Here,” “She’s Got Skillz,” “So Much In Love,” “Someone Who Lives In Your Heart,” “I’m Your Man” and “I Just Wanna Be Your Everything.”

And who can forget “Someday,” the theme song of Disney film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame?”

Two bands in one mega concert! Not bad for Cagayan de Oro at all which is privileged to host this once in a lifetime event as it is the only city in Mindanao especially chosen for such rare performance.

The back-to-back concert of Color Me Badd and All-4-One in Cagayan de Oro City is made possible by Ovation Productions in cooperation with Bigby’s Café, Dunkin Donuts, Jonie’s, Steve’s Barbeque, Parasat Digital and Samrey Printing Press.
