Another bunch of favorite forgotten or plain unknown songs this time from the Motown period. And they're ballads of course, well most of it anyways

So hard with this selection!!

You Are There – so good! A sense of mystery. Motown production perfected. Vocal delivery top notch.

Too Young – Likewise with a sense of mystery. The strings! The vocals!

To Make My Father Proud – so sad! An absolute favourite!

But I had to cast my vote on Morning Glow, because it’s really special to me. Love it.

Fairly sure I don't know any songs on this list. Possibly In Our Small Way but maybe not.

I chose ‘in our small way’. there’s an innocence and compassion that would carry over into Michael’s adult material. although not self written, it’s believable coming from him, and age appropriate. it was included on both the ‘got to be there’ and ‘Ben’ albums.
