Nigerian R&B duo P Square have paid homage to Michael Jackson in the music video for their latest single, Personally.
The group, twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, showed off a range of impressive dance moves for their track in the online video release.
One clip sees Peter and his backup dancers do Jackson's famous anti-gravity lean while another show the brothers performing the iconic Thriller dance routine.
The tribute to the late King of Pop has gone down well with fans and the online pandemonium suggests that P Square may have a smash hit on their hands.

One fan said: "Can't stop clicking? the repeat button."
Another wrote: "Woooow. I love this? so much. U guyz are just a bomb. More wisdom.."
The pair are signed to Akon's record label, Convict Muzik. Personally is their first offering since the release of their last album ,The Invasion, in 2011.

Personally I think it's a great song, AND an even greater video. I never heard of these guys before but it's catchy. I'm surprised nobody else has commented...

I have now updated the video because I noticed the end was missing from the one I posted previously, so it's worth watching again. The guy does a pretty good moonwalk with a text saying 'He lives on...'.

Yeah they're really popular in the Nigerian community. I'm Nigerian and my parents like a lot of their music thats why I know about them.

AWESOME! One of the best tributes I've seen so far. Love that they also actually used Michael's image in the background. :)

Why we honoured MJ in our new video —P-Square

The duo of Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-Square, has officiially released a new single and video, Personally. The video is part of P-Square’s effort to honour the late Michael Jackson, a music icon who had immense influence on their music career. MJ, as Jackson was fondly called, died on 25 June, 2009.

Four years after MJ’s death, one of the most popular entertainers he mentored (P-Square) have dedicated their big budget music video of their new single to his memory. Shot in Lagos and co-directed by Jude Engees Okoye and Clarence Peters, Personally is another video that showcased the dexterity of P-Square as the master of their craft. It is a must watch video, not just for P-Square’s fans, but for every Michael Jackson’s follower.

According to P-Square, “this video is dedicated to our mentor, legendary pop icon, the late Michael Jackson, who still inspires us personally.”

The video also brings back the memory of Peter and Paul Okoye as members of the now defunct Smooth Criminals and MMPP dancing groups in Jos, Plateu State. The groups majorly mimed and choreographed MJ’s songs and dance routines. With Personally, P-Square has brought the old buzz and steps back.

P-Square’s choreography, marshalled by the group’s Chief Choreographer, Don Flexx and Peter, showcased most of MJ’s popular moves. Energetic dancer, Kaffy, was also on hand with her group to add spice to the video. Pint-sized actor, Osita Iheme, a.k.a. Pawpaw, made a cameo appearance in the video alongside Peter’s son, Cameron Okoye.

P-Square’s entry into the entertainment industry started during their school days at St. Murumba College, Jos. They formed a dancing group called Smooth Criminals and mainly danced and mimed Michael Jackson, M.C Hammer and Bobby Brown’s songs.

The group existed for about five years. Peter, Paul and two other friends (Michael and Melvin) later formed an acapella group called MMPP. The group was unable to withstand the test of time so it disintegrated, leaving the two Ps –Peter and Paul now known as P-Square

Love the video, I would really like to see these kinds of tributes in many years to come.

But boy do I dislike the song! What's with this autotune, seems to be everywhere today!

The video tribute to the late King of pop Michael Jackson in the song "Personally' by sensational twins PSquare is no doubt a masterpiece and now, it has caught the attention of one of the Jackson brothers; Jermaine Jackson in the US who has announced he wants to meet PSquare.

The message from Jermaine was posted on PSquare's Youtube channel. He said "It's not everyday that a phenomenal band comes along... ..Psquare, they are absolutely sensational with the showmanship, the singing, the dancing"

I don't like the music, but it's great to see other artists tributing Michael.

Wow, I've never heard of them but I gotta say I enjoyed this a lot. It's quite catchy and the end of the video is wonderful. Great tribute
