This critically acclaimed documentary takes a 25th anniversary look at Michael Jackson's blockbuster 1987 album Bad.
Lee had directed the video for Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” and made the posthumous “This Is It” video, and his exhaustive exploration of Jackson and his music includes behind-the-scenes footage of Bad’s recording, along with extensive interviews with many of Jackson’s musical collaborators, including Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder and Sheryl Crow (then a backup singer on Jackson’s Bad tour), as well as with Martin Scorsese, editor Thelma Schoonmaker and writer Richard Price, who teamed up with Jackson for the “Bad” music video.
2012, 132 minutes, black and white/color, DCP | Documentary
