On the HIStory album, were any of the songs written by Michael for Lisa Marie?

The only song on HIStory I can find that references Lisa Marie and her kids is They Don’t Care About Us (“I have a wife and two children who love me”).

You Are Not Alone was written by R Kelly though the video shows Michael and Lisa Marie in intimate situations.

So does anyone know if any of the HIStory songs were written with Lisa Marie in mind?

Well, I hope not... because most songs on HIStory wouldn't be a compliment to Lisa Marie... imagine Money was about her, or This Time Around!

That brings up a topic though... I love the HIStory album, and I understand completely why Michael chose the topics he sang about. Still, I wish there would have been a bit more love songs from him in this era. Not necessarily on HIStory, but around this time. I think that is what I enjoyed on Invincible: there were serious topics, but also romantic songs, like Break of Dawn, You Rock My World and Butterflies.

'You Are Not Alone' is about Lizette Martinez (from Florida, USA), not about Lisa Marie Presley.

Lizette Martinez spoke about that in one of her interviews, and she revealed that R. Kelly wrote that song with her in mind after she suffered a miscarriage of their baby.

Lizette Martinez was underage when R. Kelly sexually abused her and performed sexual acts on her without her consent.
