there's NO difference at all

there's no expanded edition, however the special edition IS expanded (because it has bonus interviews & 2 demos)

what you posted are just 2 shots from the SPECIAL EDITION (as you can clearly read on it)
1st pic is the outer slipcase cover (with the red info sticker)
2nd pic is the cover (of the booklet)

some stores have removed the slipcase, that's all
