Every so often I'll just sit down and do a bit of writing - maybe a couple of times a year. I just found this poem I wrote on July 9th 2009 - I can't remember writing it to be honest but something must have been in my mind that day. I find it quite comforting - you may too. I'm sure you can tell who inspired me to write it - lol!


Now I’m Gone


Now I’m Gone
Do you love me, do you care?
Now I’m gone
Do you need me to be there?

Now I’m gone
Do you miss me, do you cry
Now I’m gone
Are all our memories flashing by?

I’ve flown away, souring high
Never to witness another cry
All around I’m surrounded by bliss
Like a child receiving a mothers comforting kiss

I see the truth, it’s all around
In the air not making a sound
I witness it all from above
The world is only filled with love

Although I only observe this now
While my time on Earth I was wondering how
I’ll let you know there is nothing to fear
As everything is perfect from here

All you have to do is smile
And think of me once in a while
Always ask what more can you give
To help all beings try to live

Now I’m Gone
My love is forever here
And now is time
To wipe away your final tear
 
Oh wow, I love this. It is so beautiful and so well put together, I love your repitition too!! You can't remember writing this?! How crazy! I'm glad that you found it though :)

That's my favourite part, my tears was falling down again,
really a beautiful poem~~~
 
wow, thank you for the comments! It's amazing how much just a few words can do. I'm trying to write more poems but I guess forcing it dosn't work?!

Dancing the Dream is a great book to read and just makes me stop and think.
 
I love this thank you so much for writing this i try so hard to smile but it's so overwhelming.
