before I clicked play I was scared it was Michael's song she was singing. I am relieved!! but the song itself - ouch!!

Neyo's voice is so nasal and whiny. I can't get in to his music because of it.

I actually really like the song (Janet's version).

I love this song (Janets version), but when I first heard this demo a couple of months ago I think my ears popped !!

Why must all new music have a dance beat. This is real SHIT.

nice that you asked that question, because there were people complaining that Michael didn't have enough dance tracks on Invincible. i guess those people, and surely, the industry thinks you have to categorize music, and have five songs that must be dance, five songs that must be ballads, five songs that have to be mid tempo, etc.

but Michael was just about inspiration.

music shouldn't be about compartmentalizing or categorizing. it should be about inspired writing. and, dammit, if you are inspired to write a whole album of ballads...good. if they're all inspired and magical...that's what counts.

having said that. i don't like this song, either. and ne yo's voice bothers me too. there's something about it that sounds as if he feels he must remain in the high register, and it almost feels unnatural.
