Awesome stills - clearly from a video. No information was shared on it, Which year do you think it is? Looks fairly recent to me.

These are the guys who should do the next MJ album (and should've done this one as well, but that's another discussion)

i hope they will be doing the next album, there's definitely some hidden gems in those hard drives that Michael recorded through the years! they need to be released, hopefully not too far down the line.. perhaps in another 4 years we'll get another posthumous lp!
 
Looks like 2003.

Also they said "throwback friday". So it shouldn't mean much.
 
We thought it's in 2003 in the Xscape news discussion since Michael wore this very same shirt on his birthday party and in October 2003 charity event Light The Way For Lupus. Also he has similar hairdo and sunglasses.

That's really cool. Hope the pics/vid really are from 2003! With Bruce Swedien and MJ in a studio it's not that far fetched to assume that there may be some proper recorded post-Invincible-pre-Trial vocals/songs.

Okay so one of the songs during this session is a Place with no name, that's what I heard, is that true?
 
Now that I think about it, this may be from early demo sessions for Number Ones when Michael was toying with some unreleased songs to be included. As we all know, One More Chance was eventually chosen.
 
A place with no name was first recorded in 1998, then worked on over the years until 2008
