My hometown, New Orleans, paid tribute to Michael today. To those who don't know, when someone really popular dies, they perform what we call a secondline. It's a parade of people dancing in the street celebrating the life of that person. They choose a place to gather and a place to end it and as they're dancing down the street, people just join in! It has to be planned ahead of time so that the police can be prepared in case violence break out but fortunately, it looks like it was very successful. Check out the pictures!

Wow, the pictures. Everybody celebrating his life. ; ) Reading that article, this part stood out to me:

"It's about to rain," she said. "When it rains, they say someone's gone to heaven." Seconds later, the skies opened up, and rain poured down in torrents.
"Michael's going to heaven," Collier said with a smile.

Hey Shamone! Yes, this was not far from my house. Beautiful tribute indeed.
